I get eBay error 95: The auction currency specified does not match the auction currency for the selected site.

The error you are receving is from eBay. When you apply a design to a live listing eBay item you are actually amending that listing, and with any amendment eBay will check that the current content meets its listing conditions.

The item you are trying to change is listed in an category than no longer exists on eBay. Althrough, when you listed this category was correct, eBay have since changed the category structure and you will need to amend the category on eBay before you can perform any other amendments.

Once you have updated the category you will be able to apply design.
